New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has written a letter to the chief secretaries of all states and union territories following the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, drawing attention to the need for rehabilitation and safety of children who have lost both their parents in Kovid. -19 epidemic.

The ministry also wants the chief secretaries to ask the district magistrate to review the proceedings against the children on a daily basis and report to the state government.
