India started this Vaccination drive January 16 against Covid-19. The third phase of the vaccination campaign began on May 1 to cover people in the 18-44 age group.
Following the Centre’s decision to liberalize the vaccination campaign so that states and private hospitals can take doses directly from manufacturers, some states have announced that they will provide free vaccines to their citizens.
