PUBG Mobile Could Launch in India as Battlegrounds Mobile India, Facebook Page Suggests


As suggested by the company’s Facebook facial Facebook page, YouTube channel and Bharat website, Pubg Mobile India may soon be re-launched in the country as Battlegrounds Mobile India. Fans have been eagerly awaiting a relaunch since the Battle Royale game was banned in India in September last year and publisher Crafton is working to bring it back to India. Now, there may be some development on that front as some changes have been seen on the company’s social media account. There was also a trailer of an alleged teaser for the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, which was released soon after it was uploaded.

PUBG banned mobile along with 117 other applications in India in September last year. Since its release in 2018, the game had garnered a huge fan base and players were disappointed to hear the news of the ban. Since then, attempts have been made to bring the game back with some changes to cater to the Indian audience, but no definite result has been achieved. Having said that, the official Facebook page of Pubji Mobile India shows that “3 Battlegrounds Mobilein” indicates that the game may be re-launched as Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Moreover, there is another account on Facebook called Batgrounds Mobile India, which claims to be the official PUBG Mobile India account for the game but is not verified. It also has a banner photo with the name – “Coming Soon” with Batgrounds Mobile India. Page, P.U.B.G. Mobile India also links to the website, which says, “Coming soon”.

Late last month, some PUBG Mobile India YouTube subscribers received notifications (., 2) A new 6-second teaser video uploaded to the official channel of, which was quickly removed. It reports that “All New Pubg Mobile # 1 coming to India.”

It should be noted that neither PUBG Corporation nor Crafton has shared any information regarding the release of PUBG Mobile in India. The fate of the game is still a mystery but with recent developments, PUBG mobile fans may have something to look forward to.
